PROGRAM
 
23 members heard member Brian Weierke, Public Safety Director for the City of Fridley, provide a year of 2022 in his department: staffing, policing strategies, call statistics (36,000), crime statistics (large increase in burglaries), and details of the criminal population the police department sees and its use of force.
 
ANNOUNCEMENTS
 
Steve Klaers reminded of the Fridley High School STRIVE awards assembly tomorrow night. Members are welcome to attend.
 
Bob Olsen provided the dates of the Fun Run (June 15) and Wine Tent (June 17) at Fridley’s 49er Days Festival. Volunteers for both will be needed.
