22 members heard Kalia Xiong, Capitol Pathways Program Director for the Citizens League of Minnesota, describe that project, which recruits BIPOC college students to learn about the state legislative process by interning at organizations which connect with the State of Minnesota legislature during its legislative session to affect legislation of interest.
 
ANNOUNCEMENTS
 
STRIVE scholarship awards were presented at Fridley High School last week by members Josh Callahan, Steve Klaers, Paul Nealy, and Michael Oakley.
 
Bob Olsen next week will seek volunteers to work at Fridley 49er Days at the Rotary Fun Run (June 15) and Wine Tent (June 17).
 
On behalf of SACA, Craig Malm announced that he is donating a golf foursome at its June 9 golf fundraiser at Fox Hollow Golf Club, and invited members to play. Contact Craig at craig.malm@allina.com to participate.
