PROGRAM
17 members, including 7 on Zoom, heard members Amada Marquez Simula and Kristen Stuenkel recount their involvement and explain the purposes of District 5960’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) group, launched as a followup to Rotary International’s DEI statement of 2019 and racism statement of June 2020, which were also presented. They reviewed the possibilities for action by the club, the resources available on the RI website, and led a “Turn and Talk” exercise which gave the participants a chance to raise ideas among themselves.
