17 members, visiting Rotarian Mark Erjavek, and guest Chuck Grewe of Sun City, AZ, heard new member Steve Drost deliver his Classification Talk. Steve a CFP-certified financial planner at Affiance Financial of St. Louis Park. Steve grew up primarily in Blaine, is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, and was married last year; his primary interests are in sports and travel.
 
Brian Weierke, acting as president in the absence of Josh Lund, announce that the club board at its meeting last week approved a $500 donation for the support of Twin Cities Rotoract  in 2019-20. 
 
Wally Wysopal handed out and summarized a financial  statement for the club's charitable arm, the Healthy Youth Foundation.
 
Twin Cities Rotaract invites you to our annual fundraiser at Summit Brewery on Wednesday, March 27th! WHAT: Spelling BEEr. WHERE: Summit Brewery, St. Paul. WHEN: MARCH 27th 5:30-8. WHY: We are partnering with the American Refugee Committee to start a new Rotaract club in a refugee camp in Uganda. The Alexandra House Hope Gala will take place on Saturday, March 30 at Leopold’s Mississippi Gardens, 9500 W River Rd, Brooklyn Park, from 6 to 10 pm. The club has purchased a table for 6. The Allina Health/Bikes for Kids bike giveaway will take place on April 13 at Stevenson Elementary School in Fridley.
